When is the best time to travel?
November to April is the dry season. The green season brings afternoon rain, fewer travellers and lush highlands.
Is the Acatenango hike for everyone?
It is a demanding overnight climb to almost 4,000 metres. For less active clients we suggest Pacaya, or a lodge with a view of Fuego.
Can Guatemala be combined with other countries?
Yes. With Belize, Mexico, Honduras and El Salvador, and with Nicaragua via El Salvador.
Which hotels do you use?
